WORK

The Short Version

With extensive experience in tech, artist management, and private family offices, I am a versatile generalist and relationship manager with a track record of supporting extraordinary individuals. My early career in UHNW private estates established my commitment to advocating for the personal well-being of the principals I support, while driving their professional success across industries.

As family office director for an internationally renowned artist, I worked closely with prominent editors, directors, and network producers, serving as a trusted ambassador to the press and public. I facilitated high-profile speaking engagements, honed my skills in writing and editing with precision, and navigated high-stakes networks with ease.

Transitioning to tech allowed me to expand into organizational strategy and people operations, partnering with founders and CEOs to build and scale companies with transformative potential. I traveled globally to raise capital, deliver presentations seen by millions, close 100M+ rounds of funding, and cultivate strategic partnerships. Most recently, a role in finance deepened my understanding of venture capital’s structure and dynamics, connecting me with a diverse network of pioneers, media experts, and VC leaders.

The Long Version

With deep experience in the tech industry, artist management, and private family offices, Amy Cray is a master generalist, relationship manager, and operations director with a passion for building healthy, cohesive teams.

Raised in a family of artists, she grew up in the theater, learning how to make magic from simple tools. A natural entrepreneur, Amy founded and directed an independent record label and catering company at age 21. She honed her food and event planning passions as a private chef and sommelier, then dove into managing the complex lives of U/HNW individuals and their estate support teams, overseeing the operations and staffing of multiple 10,000+ ftsq homes, remodels, and new builds.

While directing the office of a renowned creative artist, she learned the industries of artist management and film production, saw that multiple novels, pilots, screenplays, and print features were delivered to the light of day, staged for film and photoshoots for national publications, and developed the capacity to operate gracefully within an extremely high-profile network.

Amy shifted to tech in order to gain experience in larger organizational strategy and cross-functional communications. Partnering with founders and CEOs to build and scale companies from the point of ideation, she built and designed workplaces, launched multiple health clinics, helped secure100M+ rounds of funding, and directed PR for national campaigns. A most recent role in finance completed her understanding of the operational structure and bias of venture capital.

In 2024, while taking a break from corporate work to launch several creative projects, she was redirected to care for the most important people in her life: family. She spent the year caring and aligning supportive services for a beloved one struggling with a mental illness, learned about needed behavioral health policy reform from the frontlines, and began advocacy work and coalition building at the state level.

Most recently, she has launched a novel Creative Artists Agency, Baby Grand, a consulting brand for Bespoke Personal Assistance, Cloak and Dagger, and finished writing for a forthcoming album under the solo project NorthFork, to be released in 2025.

She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, but spends time on both coasts.
